I’ve been working out at Texas Family Fitness since August of 2022 and the facility is excellent. Beyond that, I had my first experience working out with a personal trainer and couldn’t be happier with the results. I worked with Danny and he played a major role in helping me meet and exceed all of my set goals. He’s friendly, a great coach, good motivator and consistently offered critical advice that helped me get to where I am now. If you haven’t already checked out their facility make sure to stop by and if you’re in need of a trainer I’d highly recommend Danny.
I would give this gym zero stars if I could. They have zero concept of what customer service is. They make canceling a membership the most painful experience ever. You’re met with attitude and resistance the entire way. Pay attention, there’s a reason why they are rated poorly. Not to mention the staff isn’t friendly, doesn’t acknowledge you, the same machines are frequently broken, the employees are there to huddle up amongst themselves, play on their phones, while ignoring you as a guest. It’s simply not worth the trouble with these people. I got a membership here for a temporary solution of 6 months. While it served its purpose, I still regret this terribly run gym. They’re not deserving of your time, energy, or funds. Look elsewhere.
I was rudely held up the last time I entered the club in West Frisco. It was my understanding that I could use any club as I pay more monthly than most members and have used multiple clubs in the area. Evidently something has changed and the manager there was EXTREMELY rude, so I told him to just cancel it. I’ve had that membership for YEARS and have barely used it, yet have continued to pay for it. If you had better customer service and cared about losing clients, then I would still be shelling out my dues. Instead, you will never see another cent from me!
I signed up for a pass to try the gym out. I was okay with getting tour and listening through the presentation. But, the pressure and bait and switch tactic to get people to sign up before they even try the gym is ridiculous. Secondly, not disclosing other fees that will be billed is negligent. Instead of only focusing on a sale, focus on how to increase customer’s retention. I’m glad I pass on getting a membership. Because not only does it seem this gym takes on fraudulent practices, but ruin people credit. Report this business to Better Business Bureau!
Pierre is my trainer and he is awesome! I am 56 yrs old and I now have biceps, I am doing jumping jacks and burpees and I am really getting results. It is so nice to walk in, have him demonstrate and set up everything, have a great work out and leave. He is constantly mixing things up so I don't get bored and stay motivated. I highly recommend Pierre if you want to get results.
