Used to be a good place to workout. Now it's always too busy and it doesn't help that the personal trainers think they own the gym and block off sections of it for their clients to workout. Even when their clients aren't there. Lots of middle school kids now who don't actually lift weights but will camp on a free bench for 15 minutes. Went to this gym for the last two years but it's gone downhill. Officially canceled and joined elsewhere. For anyone who actually wants to workout, look elsewhere. You'll never be able to finish a full workout.
Drove 1-1/2 hours to take grandkids who live in Little Elm to teach basketball. Called Rec first. Was told it was available, would cost $7 and to bring water bill so we turned around to get the bill. Went back to Rec. We were not allowed in because the gym was booked. But gym was empty. Huge disappointment for something we planned for a week. Now we will take the grands back home and drive the 1-1/2 hours home. No basketball today.
State of the art equipment an not too crowded. Plenty of space so not bumping into each other. Sanitary wipes to clean sweat off after others.
This place is great. Clean, not too crowded, and the staff is friendly. Don't waste money on a fancy gym membership. This place has everything.
Do not use room rental if you ever want a deposit back. The staff constantly interrupted our event, asking us to sign papers that were already signed prior to the event day. Even harassed our guest and tried to get them to sign the papers. Staff gave us misinformation on what could and could not be done in the room. They even had the audacity to say we left the room completely filthy which was a huge insult to all the guests that stayed behind to help us clean. The room was cleaner when we left than when they originally gave us the room. We felt completely targeted and swindled by the greedy manager and staff.
